High performance material and structure fatigue testing facility

Advanced engineering materials and structural fatigue experimental platform consists of INSTRON (8802/8805) High Performance Fatigue Testing System, FEI Quanta 650 FEG Field Emission Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope, High Resolution Micro-focus 3D-CT System and ARAMIS Image Processing System.
The experimental platform can be applied for the microscopic analysis, quasi-static, dynamic and fatigue test and the nondestructive test of internal structure, and the platform is developed for the multi-scale experimental tests ranging from the nano-scale, micro-scale and meso-scale to the macroscopic-scale. This experimental platform can alos be used in the research of mechanics, such as materials science, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering and transportation engineering.
The main technical parameters of INSTRON (8802/8805) High Performance Fatigue Testing System are as follows: (1) Maximum dynamic load: ±250/1000 kN; (2) Loading frequency: 0.05 ~ 50 Hz; (3) Amplitude-frequency response: non-loaded ± 1.0 mm (sinusoidal waveform, maximum loading frequency 15 Hz).
The main technical parameters of FEI Quanta 650 FEG Field Emission Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope are as follows: (1) Working mode: high vacuum mode, high vacuum deceleration mode, low vacuum mode and environmental vacuum mode; (2) Maximum resolution: ≤ 1.0 nm; (3) Amplification factor: 6 ~ 300000.
The main technical parameters of CT MAIN PARAMETERS System are as follows: (1) Pixel size: 200 × 200 µm²; (2) Amplification factor: 150 (maximum); (3) Volume scanning and digital imaging.
