Research Interest

 His current research interests are the static and dynamic analysis of hydraulic structures and offshore energy structures. The research programs involve high performance cementious materials, dams and offshore wind turbines.

Professional Employment

He is a professor in the College of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. He received a PhD degree in structural engineering from Zhejiang University in 2003. He was a visiting scholar in Imperial College London (2010) and University of California, Berkeley (2015). He is a principal investigator of several research projects supported by the National Nature Science Foundation of China, and the coauthor of more than 20 international refereed journal papers. He has published 70 papers and 6 patents in Chinese. His current research interests are the static and dynamic analysis of hydraulic structures and offshore energy structures. The research programs involve high performance cementious materials, dams and offshore wind turbines.
