2017 i. FUTURE International Ideas Competition for Future Cities
NOTICE
The imagination of future cities has been a most abundant source of fantasy for human kinds. In order to enrich the concept and make the blueprint for future cities, the first “International Ideas Competition for Future Cities” ,organized by China Academy for New Urbanization of Zhejiang University, is calling for creative ideas.
This is a conceptual urban design competition, for which Peter G.Rowe, (Raymond Garbe Professor of Harvard University, Former Dean of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design) and WANG Jianguo (Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chairman of National Supervision Board of Architectural Education) will serve as co-chairmen of the jury.
1. Eligibility
Full-time students who major in Architectural Design, Urban Design,Urban Planning or other related fields and young designers who graduated no more than 5 years after completing a bachelor degree are invited to participate the competition.
2. Schedule
Registration Deadline: 24:00 15th April 2017 (GMT+8)
Deadline for Proposals to Be Submitted: 24:00 20th April 2017(GMT+8)
Announcement of Winners and Award Ceremony: The end of the April 2017

4. Awards
1st Prize (3 groups), Certificate + 10,000 rmb (tax included);
2nd Prize (9 groups), Certificate + 5,000 rmb each(tax included);
3rd Prize (21 groups), Certificate + 1,000 rmb each(tax included);
Excellent instructor, Awarded with certificate;
Awarded winners mentioned above will be published on Future Magazine with their works;
First prize winners will be qualified to attend the 2nd Zhejiang University International Dialogue on Urban & Rural Development (transportation and accommodation fees included).
