College of Civil Engineering and Architecture (CCEA),is one of the earliest established engineering institutions in Zhejiang University, which can be traced back to 1927 and the founding of the Department of Civil Engineering.

With over 90 years of development, CCEA is organized across 18 research institutes (centers) and 16 state and provincial teaching and research bases, covering disciplines in infrastructure like civil engineering, hydraulic engineering, transportation engineering, architecture, urban and rural planning, etc. It is home to more than 300 global talents, including members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences/Engineering, State Distinguished Young Scholars. With China’s “Double First-class” Initiative, CCEA graciously invites excellent talents from all over the world to join us.



1.Qiushi Distinguished Professor

Qualifications and Requirements:

(1)The applicant should keep pace with disciplinary development trends in the world. He /She should follow the demands of development in cutting-edge sciences and technologies in the world and the demands of important national strategies. He /She should have a quite strong influence among the peer experts. He /She should be a great team-player with outstanding organization and management capabilities. 

(2) The applicant should hold associate professorship or above (or an equivalent title) in a prominent overseas university or full professorship (or an equivalent title) in a domestic university.

(3)The applicant should be 55 years of age or under.


2. Hundred Talents Program

Qualifications and Requirements:

(1) The applicant should hold a doctoral degree of world-renowned university. He/She should have at least two years’ oversea research experience, and have the potential to lead in his/her academic field.

(2) The applicant should hold tenture or tenture-track in a prominent overseas or domestic university, recuited or have the potential to be recuited in national young talent programs (or an equivalent academic level).

(3) The applicant should keep good professional ethics, rigorous learning spirit, prominent academic potential and good at cooperation. He/She should have the ability to establish and develop a research orientation independently.
 (4) The applicant should work full-time at CCEA and be 35 years of age or under.


3. Distinguished Research Fellow (Associate Researcher)

Qualifications and Requirements:

(1) The applicant should hold a doctoral degree of world-renowned university. He /She should have at least two years’ postdoctoral research experience and one year’s oversea study or research experience.

(2) The applicant should keep good professional ethics, prominent academic potential, innovation and cooperation spirit.

(3)The applicant should be 35 years of age or under.


4. Talents in architecture, planning and design

Warmly welcome talents in enterprise and public institutions or universities at home and abroad with major engineering practice, strong academic influence, experience in national key fund projects, major engineering/design projects; prize-winners of domestic and oversea major design contests;  national design masters, state high-level professional talents and doctoral degree holders from world-renowned universities. The remuneration will be offered according to ZJU talent recruitment policy, with extra support from Zhejiang University Alliance of Architecture and Urban Planning (ZAP).




1. CV (including consecutive study and work experience from undergraduate period to date, publication catalogue, major teaching and research achievements, patents and awards, etc.);

2. future research plan;

3. three representative works in full text.

The above materials should be edited into one PDF by the name of ‘applicant’s name+position+discipline’, and sent to Human Resources Office (jxy@zju.edu.cn). The review of applicant’s materials will be finished within four weeks. Potential candidates will be invited to interview or academic communication. Applicants with no reply for six weeks should be considered as not on the short-list.
