The speaker will share his encounter with the illuminating educator and architect John Hejduk at the Cooper Union in the East Village, New York, where the talk will develop into the six intimate encounters on the engagement of arts and architecture that crosses aesthetic, poetic, and politic.
关于约翰·海杜克
约翰·海杜克是一位现代建筑里典型的理想主义者。他因对形式、组织、结构与复现等最基本建筑学要素的持续探索而闻名于世。除了建筑师的身份，他也是一位教育家、艺术家和诗人，在库珀联盟建筑学院（Cooper Union）的25年（1975—2000）院长生涯里影响了一批年轻的建筑师，他们直至今日还在享用海杜克的知识遗产。无论在精神上还是方法上，海杜克对纯粹的形式问题的探索都在激励着当代的建筑学实验，这一影响随着时间的推移日益显现。因此，反思海杜克对今日建筑学的意义正当其时。
