Position title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Duties:
- Design, document, & provide support for geotechnical models requested by clientele.
- Design, document & test geotechnical models on company software.
- Test, discover, and document software defects.
- Occasional assistance with documentation of new feature design and code based upon company standards.
- Introduce, promote, and support our products and services with existing and new clients.
- Participation in software training activities, in Canada and abroad.
- Participation in geotechnical exhibitions and events.
Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD degree in geotechnical engineering
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of geotechnical engineering principles, and programming practices.
- Personable & able to establish a relationship & communicate with clientele.
- Familiarity with C#.NET, VB.NET and/or Java languages (object oriented technologies) an asset.
- Knowledge of database environments such as Access, SQL Server, MySQL or ORACLE database software would be beneficial.
- Skilled in the use of computer with MSOffice & able to learn new software quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to express ideas and concepts effectively orally, visually and in writing.
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines.
- Fluency in other languages an asset.
