First Announcement for 5th Asia Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics & 4th International Symposium on
Computational Mechanics Mini-Symposium Analytical and Numerical Methods for Composites
The 5th Asia Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics (APCOM2013) & 4th International Symposium on Computational Mechanics (ISCM2013) will be held in Singapore (www.apcom2013.org) during December 11-14, 2013. It is a great platform for gathering of researchers and exchanging ideas on various areas related to, but not limited to, computational mechanics. Selected papers presented in the Conference will be peer reviewed for publication in the following Journals:
1. International Journal of Computational Methods (SCI)
2. International Journal of Applied Mechanics (SCI)
3. Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements (SCI)
4. International Journal of Computational Materials Science and Engineering
The Mini-Symposium on Analytical and Numerical Methods for Composites (MS70) is organized to provide a platform for exchanging ideas related to composite materials and structures in various disciplines of engineering sciences. The topics for this mini-symposium include but not limited to
1. Analytical methods for composite materials, functionally graded materials, cement-based infrastructure materials, hybrid soft/hard materials, etc.
2. Green’s functions
3. Finite element method and advanced finite element methods
4. Boundary element methods and multi-pole fast boundary element method
5. Mesh free method
6. High performance computing techniques
7. Multi-scale simulations
8. Computational solid mechanics
9. Computational heat and mass transfer
10. Computational biomechanics
Researchers from Material Sciences, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics and Astronautics, Biomedicine, and Bioengineering etc. are highly welcome to this mini-symposium. Important dates include:
1. Apr 30, 2013: Deadline for abstract submission
2. Jun 30, 2013: Acceptance of abstracts
3. Aug 15, 2013: Deadline for full paper submission
4. Sep 01, 2013: Deadline for early-bird registration
5. Dec 11-14, 2013: Conference dates
