报告题目:THE DYNAMIC THEORY AND SOLUTIONS ABOUT PLATES
应浙江大学蔡袁强教授与徐长节教授邀请,瑞典Chalmers University of Technology的Anders Bostrom教授将于10月18日访问浙江大学并做学术报告。
Bostrom教授来自瑞典查尔姆斯理工大学的高铁研究中心CHAMEC。CHARMEC是一个国际上享有盛誉的多学科研究中心,尤其在铁路方面具有资深的研究实力;拥有良好的项目管理技术和工程知识背景,它在铁路工业方面的重大工程中取得了骄人的成绩;建立了庞大的国际交流网络,使CHARMEC获得了工业同行的认可和赞誉。
Bostrom教授现年59岁,1980获数学物理学博士学位,并于1986年成为教授,并担任应用力学学院副院长以及动力学系主任至今。Bostrom教授长期致力于弹性材料(考虑各向异性、压电材料等因素)中波的传播与振动特性方面的基本理论研究;并取得重要创新性成果,是该领域研究的资深专家,目前已发表SCI期刊论文60余篇,并多次受邀担任国际学术会议主题报告人。同时,Bostrom教授研究成果在工程中取得广泛应用,尤其在高速列车引起的地基振动预测和隔振研究、核电站超声波无损检测等领域有重要应用。
报告简介:First the equations of motion for a homogeneous, isotropic, elastic plate are derived by starting with a series expansion in the thickness coordinate. All but the lowest-order expansion functions are eliminated with the help of the three-dimensional dynamic equations, and are plugged into the boundary conditions on the surfaces of the plate. These become the plate dynamic equations of motion, which may be truncated to any order and believed to be asymptotically correct to all orders. Eliminating to one equation gives an equation that to lowest order gives the standard Kirchhoff plate equation and to the next order an equation of Mindlin type (with somewhat different coefficients). This method has been generalized to a number of other cases, like layered plates, anisotropic plates, and piezoelectric plates, and also to a cylindrical shell.
