徐曦教授简历：
Xi F. Xu received a Bachelor degree in hydraulic engineering from Tsinghua University in 1993, and a PhD degree in civil engineering from Johns Hopkins in 2005. He served as an assistant professor at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2005~2012, and is now a professor in civil engineering at Beijing Jiaotong University. His research interests cover a broad range of topics on multiscale & stochastic modeling of complex engineering systems, especially reliability of materials and structures subjected to extreme loadings and natural hazards. The honors he received include the Early Career Principle Investigator Award from the US Department of Energy in 2006, and the 2010 K.J. Bathe Award for the Best Paper by a Young Researcher in the Field of Computational Engineering.
