报告内容:Conventional construction faces various challenges, such as safety and productivity. To solve current issues, innovative fabrication technologies become crucially important. Digital construction, especially 3D concrete printing (3DCP), has attracted great attention from both academia and engineering in recent years with its attractive potential benefits. As an automatic process, 3DCP can generate less waste, require less manpower, and provide formwork-free fabrication. However, implementing 3DCP into construction practice is difficult and challenging because 3DCP is immature and requires many efforts from various disciplines. The talk will cover several topics, including developing printable material, printing system design to address the interface issue, and integrating Building Information Modelling with 3DCP for automatic printing path generation. Finally, future research needs and innovation opportunities of 3DCP will be proposed and discussed.



Bio: 翁毅伟博士,香港理工大学建筑及房地产系助理教授、博士生导师,数字化建造实验室负责人。累计发表SCI论文50余篇,授权国际发明专利2项,商业化授权专利及技术公开4项,主要研究兴趣包括:建筑3D打印、绿色功能材料及智能建造系统。翁博士获北京科技大学获材料科学与工程以及金融工程的工学学士和经济学学士学位(2014),新加坡南洋理工大学获机械与宇航工程硕士(2015)和土木与环境工程博士学位(2020)。现任中国复合材料学会复合材料增材制造专委会委员,Journal of Materials Science in Additive Manufacturing (MSAM)期刊编委, ASCE成员,任多个RILEM技术委员会委员。翁博士的研究成果已经实际应用到新加坡建造业中,并得到新闻媒体广泛报道,如《亚洲新闻》、《海峡时报》、IEEE Spectrum、《商业时报》等。近年来,主持国家自然科学基金、大学教育资助委员会、香港研究资助局、广东省科技厅项目等10余项。
