The brief biography of Dr. Michael Wang：
Dr. Michael Wang is the vice president of HAZEN AND SAWYER, a large US consulting company specialized in water and wastewater area. He is a registered professional engineer in NC, SC, and five other states. His specialty is in hydraulic/ water quality modeling in water distribution and wastewater collection systems. He is also a technical specialist in design of water and wastewater treatment processes and facilities, especially in chemical facilities and aeration systems. Dr. Wang is an Executive Resident Engineer and a Guest Resident Engineer at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of University of Alberta in Canada, teaching senior design courses in water and wastewater treatment plants. Active in AWWA and WEF, he is a board certified environmental engineer (BCEE) by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. He currently serves in the national AWWA’s Engineering Modeling and Application Committee (EMAC), updating AWWA Manual 32 – Hydraulic Modeling.
